Day 18. Yangon departure

Day1. Yangon arrival

If arriving by morning or mid day flight, welcomed by our local tour guide and transfer to hotel. The afternoon tour of Yangon's city center featuring Chaukhtatgyi, a colossal reclining Buddha; Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda, significant for the Sixth World Buddhist Synod Which held in Maha Pasana Guha (Cave) and the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonder of the world. Overnight at Hotel. (If arriving by evening flight, welcomed by our local tour guide and transfer to hotel.)

Day 2. Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo (By Car)

After breakfast at hotel, early morning, drive to Kyaikhtiyo or the golden rock, on which a small pagoda insignificant in size but unique for its position. The rock is completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of the cliff. Arrive at the base camp and proceed to the camp II called Yathetaung by open truck about an hour mountain drive. Take a light trekking up to the Golden Rock along the twisting footpath through bamboo forest. Enjoy sunset beauty on hill top and overnight at hotel.

Day 3. Kyaikhtiyo - Bago - Yangon (By Car)

After breakfast at hotel, take a light trekking down to the camp II; Yathetaung along the twisting footpath through bamboo forest. Then drive down to the base camp and continue drive to Taungoo. And then proceed to Phokyar Elephant camp. Overnight at Phokyar resort.

Day 4. Phokyar Elephant Camp (Trekking)

Morning, visit to a village of elephant trainers and logging workers. Enjoy elephant ride through golden teak wood plantation. Afternoon, joins for light trekking around camp. Overnight at Phokyar resort.

Day 5. Phokyar Elephant Camp-Kalaw (By Car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive (320km - 6hr drive) to Kalaw, a hill station of British colonial day as mountain resort town in the Southern Shan State. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6. Kalaw - Pindaya Cave- Inle Lake (By Car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Pindaya (48km - 1 ½hr drive), through picturesque scenery. Visit Pindaya cave; with centuries old over 8000 Buddha Images, home based paper and umbrella making workshop.
Proceed to the famous Inle Lake, the residence of the Intha people, Unique Leg-rowers, and a kind of water world. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7. Inle Lake

After breakfast at hotel, get the real feelings of the lake by visiting famous floating gardens; floating weaving village of Inpawkon; fishing methods of native Intha people; Phaungdawoo Pagoda in which five golden statues, Shwe Indein ancient pagodas, over one thousand stupa there and Ngaphechaung old teak wood monastery. Overnight at  hotel.

Day 8. Inle Lake –(Heho)- Mandalay (By Car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Mandalay for 6 hrs. Arrive at Mandalay and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 9. Mandalay – Sagaing- Mingun - Mandalay (By Car/By Boat)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Sagaing visiting Kaunghmudaw Pagoda, an enormous solid dome shape stupa and famous Sagaing Hill, a retreat for Buddhist devotees, Silverware workshop, and drive back to Mandalay
Afternoon depart Mandalay on a private boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun, a village on the west bank of the river (11km) about 1 hr boat ride. Tour highlights include Huge but unfinished Pahtodawgyi Pagoda: Mingun bell, probably the largest uncracked ringing bell in the world which weighing 90 tons and Myatheintan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base. Come back to Mandalay and overnight at Hotel.

Day 10. Mandalay

After breakfast at hotel, visit to Mahamuni, live like Buddha image, and then drive to Amarapura. Visit  Mahagandayon  Monastery where over a thousand of monks who take their last meal of the day in total silence;
U-Bein Old Wooden Bridge, Gold leaf making workshop; Marble sculptures; Tapestry workshop.
Afternoon visit to the Central Grand Palace; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world largest book for its 729 marble slabs inscribed with the Buddha's Doctrine; Golden Palace Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carving and Atumashi (incomparable) Monastery; Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, a huge image curved out of a single block of marble. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city on Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 11. Mandalay - Monywa (By Car)

After breakfast at Hotel, drive to Monywa (140 km - 3 hr drive) to the west of Mandalay. Arrive Monywa, proceed by road to Shwe Ba Hill and Phowin Taung caves.
Afternoon tour of Monywa includes Thanboddhay Paya (with over 500,000 of Buddha images); Boddhi Tahtaung (Ten thousands of Bo tree); Po Khaung Taung; Aung Sakkya Pagoda and view of 300 ft long Reclining Buddha. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 12. Monywa - Pakokku - Bagan (By Car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bagan via Pakokku (about 7 hrs drive) cross over the Ayeyarwaddy river. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 13. Bagan

In the Morning, a comprehensive exploration of Bagan includes Nyaung Oo market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype stupa which shown the strength of Bagan; Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite mural painting of 13th century and Htilominlo Temple.
Afternoon visit to lacquer ware workshops; continue to Manuha Temple built by exile King Manuha of Thaton; Nanphaya, said to have been the residence of King Manuha; Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi colour mural paintings. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from Pyathatgyi Temple. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 14. Bagan - Pyay (By Car)

After breakfast at hotel, morning depart by road to Pyay ( 402 km - 9 hrs drive ), an ancient capital before Christian era. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 15. Pyay - Ngwesaung ( By Car )

After breakfast at hotel, continue drive to Ngwe Saung beach ( 260 km - 10 hrs drive ) which is the newest and recently developed beach about 65 miles south of Ngapali which is equally enjoyable. Overnight at hotel in Ngwe Saung Beach.

Day 16. Ngwesaung

Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ngwesaung beach.

Day 17. Ngwesaung - Yangon ( By Car )

After breakfast at hotel, return to Yangon by road via Pathein
( about 6hrs drive ). Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 18. Yangon departure

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for departure.
