Day 1. Yangon - Bago - Moyingyi
Keep the city traffic behind us and travel to
Bago, 80 Km north of Yangon by coach. Visit Kyaikpun; four
seated Buddha images; Kalayani Sima ( Ordination Hall):
Shwetharlyaung, 55 meters long reclining Buddha image;
Shwemawdaw Pagoda; Handicraft workshops and Bago local market.
Proceed to Moyingyi. Welcome introductory commentary about the
reservoir (wet land sanctuary) and boat excursion in the
reservoir for BIRDS WATCHING. Binoculars are provided. Overnight
at Moyingyi Wetland Resort. Day 2. Moyingyi
Phyo Kyar elephant camp
After breakfast at Hotel depart for Phyokyar
elephant camp via Taung-Oo. Admire the natural teak forests and
the scenic beauty of Bago Yoma mountain range along the uphill
road to the famous "Phyokyar elephant Camp". Overnight at Phyokyar Resort made of natural teak wood.
Day 3. Phyo Kyar camp light trekking
Afer breakfast at Resort, proceed to a
village of elephant trainers and loggingworkers where native
"Kayin"
tribes inhabited. Explore the primitive way of life of Kayins.
Overnight at Phyokyar Resort made of natural teak wood.
Day 4. Phyo Kyar camp-Taung Oo-Yangon
After breakfast, drive to Yangon via Taung-Oo.
Arrive Yangon and overnight at Hotel.
