Tour Conditions and Travel Information

Followings are helpful ideas and suggestions to all travelers, planning a trip to Myanmar. If there is specific information you wish to know, please do not hesitate to Contact us in Yangon . We will assist you in any way we could, for your convenience.

Deposits and Payments

When making reservation with Rose Holidays Travels & Tours, we will require a deposit to secure all travel services. When you make reservation, normally the balance of the tour price should be paid at least (30) days in advance unless other arrangements are agreed when reservation is confirmed.

For special groups and for special services during peak period, normal deposit fees may be increased by our local providers. So please inquire upon reservation.

Cancellation Fees & Refunds

Rose Holidays Travels & Tours Company Ltd. understands that cancellations are a part of the travel business. After commencement of travel, no refund either in full or in part, will be given for unused services, included in the program, unless it is directly caused by RHTT. So we try to be as flexible as possible with our policy. Company operation and communication costs and direct charges which may be collected by our local providers such as hotels, airlines etc. will normally be charged to the clients. We will always try to minimize any cancellation fees to our clients. We do recommend that our clients carry adequate travel insurance which cover costs, in case a cancellation charge is required. During peak season time and for certain size groups there may be special cancellation fees, so please inquire when booking.

Complimentary Policy

The 16th member of a group will be given complimentary on half twin basis.

Domestic Airline & Flights

Private operated airlines flying throughout Myanmar’s destination are Air Bagan, Yangon Air and Air Mandalay. Baggages allowances is (20) kilo per person and excess baggage fees may be charged. We would like to suggest our clients to leave some items which may not be needed when travel up country. Can leave them at the hotel in Yangon or with (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours).

Child Discount

A child under 12 years old is generally granted a reduction of 50% of the Tour price, on condition that he/she must accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stays in the Same room in an existing bed. Please check with Rose Holidays Travels & Tours before proceeding any reservation.

Responsibility

Rose Holidays Travels & Tours Company Ltd., will acts as an agent for the person or companies, providing accommodation, transport and other services, included in our price quoted. As “Service Providers” (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours) is not responsible or liability for the following.

(1) Damage, loss, any injury, delay to person or property.
(2) Additional expenses, in convenience directly or indirectly or by any Service Provider or other unforeseen events  beyond our Control. Accidents, delays, bad weather, Acts of God or Acts of Government.
(3) Failure of Machinery equipment, Vehicles or industrial disputes.

Accommodation and Meals

Please be cleared that (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours) has the right to substitute a “Hotel or Restaurant” of Similar standard, if and when require to do so due to unforeseen circumstances. Please be aware that first class accommodation may not be available in some part of our Myanmar destination. But have trust in (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours) that we will arrange the best accommodation available for our clients convenience at every location.

Tour Guide

Rose Holidays Travels & Tours Company LTD will normally assign an English Speaking Guide for their clients. We have two different types of tour guide in our country. One is – through out guide, who will escorted you for the entire touring and station guide who will meet you at every destination and escorted you to and around at destination you arrived.

(1) Accompanying English speaking Guides

For through out touring (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours) select a tour guide from Yangon and assign them to travel with you through out your entire journey in Myanmar, until you depart from Yangon. If you have any special interests please let us know. So that we could fulfill your needs and wants. All our guides are well trained for (a) large groups especially those traveling without a tour leader (b) Elderly people who may need special attention. (c) Disable people. (d) Special interests groups for Specific Subjects, for example – Gems & Jewelry, art and history, fauna and flora, archeology etc. Qualified guides speaking other foreign languages such as German, French, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and Indian, Special guide fees will apply. Please enquire when booking.

(2) Local Station English Speaking Guides

At every destination you arrived, our station guide will welcome you. For example – Bagan, Mandalay, and Inlay. By hiring a station guide, will reduces the tour cost, for the clients. Our (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours) guides are authorized tour guide, fully licensed, well trained and polite to our clients.

Language

The majority of the people speak Myanmar and English is used through out the country. Can hire language guide, such as German Speaking, French Speaking, English Speaking, Thai Speaking, Malaysian, Korean, Spanish Speaking, Russian Speaking guide, and Indian Speaking guide.

Visa Requirement

A Tourist visa for Myanmar can be obtained from any Myanmar Embassy or Consulate world- wide. A visa is required in advance. Travellers plan to arrive via Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Hong Kong can sometime obtain their tourist visas within one working day. Visas are valid for (28) days. Visas for more than (28) days need to be arranged in advance. After arrived in Myanmar, visa extension for another (4) days can be arranged in Yangon.

Tourist traveling to Myanmar on a Tour (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours) Package Tour should present a copy of the (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours) confirmation of travel arrangements when applying for your visa. You will then receive a Entry Visa for Package Tourist, (EVT Package). For visa on arrival, if advance notification is given, (Rose Holidays Travels & Tours) may be able to arrange a visa on arrival in Yangon and Mandalay. For this case, please advise us passport details of clients. Details of clients must forward to us one month prior to the arrival date. How to apply-

Tour Price

Please note that when you book additional cost and expenses such as international airfare, airport tax, visa fees, excess baggage charges, personal or baggage insurance and any item of a personal nature –are not included in our price quoted.

Travellers Cheques

Travellers cheques may be very time consuming to transact. You must bring the original purchase agreement for the travelers cheques with you as proof when cashing your cheques. Travellers may need to wait for their payment transaction to be approved. Travellers cheque may be accept only by the Government Bank and Certain international hotels (for their in- house guest only).

Transport & Vehicles

Rose Holidays Travels & Tours always use the best air-con bus and cars for their clients. But in some remote areas air conditioned vehicles may not always be available and roads in some part of the country may vary through out Myanmar. Remote area travel needs a spirit of adventure.
